We started our three-week Southeast Asia adventure in Bangkok—the first stop on our itinerary and my first time back since 2018. Touching down in the city again felt both familiar and surreal in the best way.
We spent three nights at the Rosewood Bangkok, and I’m so glad we chose it—it was the perfect place to land, reset, and ease into the rhythm of the trip. “The hotel itself is a 30-storey, visually stunning architectural marvel. Its contemporary, vertical form is inspired by the wai—the traditional Thai gesture of greeting—and it adds a striking silhouette to the Bangkok skyline.
Rosewood Bangkok is an urban oasis tucked into the heart of the city’s business district,. The architecture is striking—modern but warm, with clean lines, natural textures and the design draws from Thai cultural traditions.
The hotel is directly connected to the Ploenchit BTS station, which made exploring Bangkok incredibly easy. With Bangkok’s traffic on a whole other level, having the skytrain just steps away was a game changer.
Rosewood Bangkok has 158 rooms and suites, each one designed to feel like a private sanctuary above the city. We stayed in an Executive Room that felt modern, clean, and incredibly comfortable.
I especially loved the bathroom—it had a stunning soaking tub, a walk-in rain shower, and even a Dyson hair dryer. Everything felt elevated and thoughtfully designed.

Rosewood Bangkok offers four dining concepts, each with its own vibe. We started every morning at Lakorn European Brasserie, where I had the best breakfast of the entire trip—waffles, pasteries, tropical fruit. All delicious!
Nan Bei serves elevated Chinese cuisine, while Lennon’s is a chic rooftop speakeasy with skyline views and handcrafted cocktails. For something lighter, G&O (Green & Organic) focuses on healthy, seasonal dishes and smoothies.

The 65-foot indoor-outdoor saltwater lap pool is suspended above the city and honestly feels like a dream. It even features a built-in whirlpool, making it the perfect place to unwind. My fiancé loved doing sunset swims.

I didn’t make it to the spa (major regret), but Sense, A Rosewood Spa, is known for its personalized treatments that blend Thai healing techniques with modern wellness. Think chakra-balancing massages and herbal compress rituals—it’s at the top of my list for next time.
The gym was sleek, well-equipped, and spacious enough to actually want to work out in with views of Bangkok’s skyline.
Rosewood Bangkok set the tone for the rest of our journey. It gave us a grounding start, a bit of calm before the adventure, and a reminder that where you stay can really shape how you feel in a place. If you’re heading to Bangkok, treat yourself to a stay here. It’s worth it—for the breakfast alone.
