Six Senses Ibiza Hotel Review

An Enchanting Stay for Bella and Gary’s Wedding

Last summer I had the pleasure of staying at Six Senses Ibiza for my good friends Bella and Gary’s wedding. They rented out the entire hotel for three magical nights!

About the Hotel

Six Senses Ibiza, set in the hidden gem of Xarraca Bay on Ibiza’s northern tip.

The property features 116 guest rooms and suites, seamlessly integrated into the landscape to offer unobstructed sunset views. The resort combines farm-to-table dining, art, healing, longevity, and wellness, all designed to blend into its stunning natural surroundings. The architect, developer, and owner Jonathan Leitersdorf envisioned a utopian village with a tactile Finca-style aesthetic that mirrors the tonal colors and textures of the Balearics.

Our Room

Ryan and I shared a room with my best friend Brittany and her husband. We stayed in their Three Bedroom Residence, which was sheer perfection. The room offered a private backyard with a pool and views of the ocean.

The Food

Six Senses Ibiza offers four restaurants:

·  Beach Caves: An architectural marvel built into the rock overlooking the sea, Beach Caves includes dining rooms serving sushi and sashimi from New York’s BondST, along with a variety of Japanese-inspired dishes. During the wedding, Bella and Gary turned this restaurant into a nightclub!

·  Farmers’ Market Restaurant: Located in the lobby, this relaxed all-day eatery includes a juice and veggie bar, coffee shop, bakery, pizza stall, and pinchos station.

·  Orchard: Adjacent to Farmers’ Market, this outdoor setting features communal tables shaded by citrus trees, blending traditional local dishes with Mexican-Peruvian cocktails for an intimate dining experience. This is where Bella and Gary had their welcome dinner.

·  HaSalon: Led by Israeli chef Eyal Shani, this flagship restaurant focuses on plant-based cuisine, highlighting the island’s rich array of produce like avocados, watermelons, oranges, lemons, and Ibiza rock salt. It boasts a 50-seat chef’s table beneath 100-year-old olive trees.

Since we were there for the wedding, most of the meals were personally selected by Bella and Gary, adding a special touch to the dining experience. The in-room dining was so good. We ordered a lot of late night bites after the festivities. I loved their chicken sandwich and burger!

Wellness and Spa

Six Senses Ibiza’s commitment to longevity and wellness is truly commendable. The wellness programs are designed to rejuvenate and revitalize, offering everything from yoga sessions to innovative treatments. Our room was conveniently located next to the Six Senses RoseBar, which offers an intuitive blend of science and human awareness with services like vitamin IV drips, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, acupressure boots, ozone therapy, shamanic healing, cryotherapy, and more. We enjoyed cryotherapy, sauna, and cold plunges during our stay—perfect for recovering after a night of celebrating Bella and Gary.

Activities

Six Senses offers a variety of activities and experiences, including outdoor movies, soul-bonding ceremonies, cacao ceremonies, sunset ceremonies, boat trips to Formentera, water sports, farm harvests, and a zero-waste workshop.
