Santa Marina Mykonos Hotel Review

This summer, my best friend Tasha got married in Athens, and a group of us decided to spend a week in Mykonos after the wedding. Mykonos is one of the most popular Greek islands to visit during the summer, known for its stunning beaches, charming cobblestone streets, and lively nightlife. We spent five nights in a villa, and then we decided to treat ourselves to the last two nights at Santa Marina Mykonos. It was the perfect way to end our time in Mykonos.

Location

Santa Marina Mykonos is located on the southwestern coast of the island, overlooking the Aegean Sea. The resort is set on a hillside, surrounded by lush gardens and offering panoramic views of the sea and nearby islands. While it feels secluded and peaceful, the resort is just a short drive from Mykonos town, where you can explore the island’s famous landmarks, restaurants, and nightlife.

Accommodations

The resort offers a range of accommodations to suit different preferences and group sizes. There are 101 rooms and suites, as well as 13 villas with private pools. All rooms are spacious and elegantly designed, featuring contemporary furnishings and neutral color schemes. We stayed in one of their RESORT SEA VIEW SUITES which had a balcony with views of the ocean. There was a cute cat that really loved hanging on our balcony.

Facilities & Restaurants

Santa Marina Mykonos has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. There are three restaurants on-site, serving Mediterranean cuisine, sushi, and seafood. My personal favorite was Buddha Bar Beach which serves the most amazing fresh sushi. You can also order Buddha Bar on their private beach while soaking in the sun and sipping cocktails – pure Mykonos heaven. Other facilities on the property include a state-of-the-art fitness center, a spa with a range of treatments, and a private beach with sun loungers and water sports.

Activities

There’s no shortage of things to do at Santa Marina Mykonos, whether you want to relax or be active. You can spend your days lounging by the pool or on the private beach, trying out water sports like paddleboarding and kayaking, or exploring the island on a boat tour. The resort also offers yoga classes, cooking classes, and wine-tasting sessions, as well as a kids’ club for younger guests.

Service

One of the standout features of Santa Marina Mykonos is the exceptional service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always willing to go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be greeted with a warm welcome and a glass of champagne. Throughout your stay, the staff will be on hand to assist with anything you need, whether it’s making restaurant reservations or arranging a boat tour.

Overall, Santa Marina Mykonos is a luxurious and unforgettable destination that offers the perfect combination of relaxation, adventure, and indulgence. Whether you’re traveling with family, friends, or a partner, this resort is sure to exceed your expectations and create the best memories.
