- Baby2Baby: Provides children in need with diapers, clothing, and other essential items. They often need volunteers for sorting and distributing supplies.
- Red Eye & Watts Empowerment Center: Focuses on providing educational and enrichment opportunities to youth in Watts.
- LA Food Bank: Distributes food to those in need across LA County. They rely on volunteers for sorting and packing food, as well as financial donations.
- Union Rescue Mission: Offers shelter, meals, and supportive services to the homeless population in downtown LA. You can help by volunteering or donating essential items.
- Downtown Women’s Center: Dedicated to helping women experiencing homelessness. They offer programs for housing, health care, and employment, and they welcome volunteers and donations.
- The Stray Cat Alliance: Focuses on improving the lives of homeless cats through rescue, TNR (trap-neuter-return), and adoption services.
