This year It’s Bigger Than Us hosted our 5th Annual Back 2 School in Leimert Park creating a fun-filled day to prepare students and families for the upcoming school year.
Schedule:
Morning: 8:30 am – 10:00 am – Yoga and a sound bath in Leimert Park with Lululemon
Afternoon: 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm – Main Back 2 School Event
This year’s highlights included:
- 2,500 backpacks
- 200 Free laptops from AT&T
- Health screenings and resources
- Essential resources including diapers, wipes, kids clothing
- Sports activations by the LA Clippers, Hoopbus, and AYSO Soccer
- Arts and crafts
- Music from local artists
- Seedling bar
- Ice cream & ice cones
