I recently returned from a 5-night cruise in the Bahamas on the Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection for my friend Ethan and Alana’s wedding. Many people asked me about the cruise, so I wanted to write a review on my experience.
The Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection Highlights:
- Evrima is the first ship in the Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection.
- Evrima can accommodate up to 298 passengers.
- There are 149 suites.
- The all-suite yacht offers six types of accommodations — all with king-size beds, private terraces overlooking the ocean, 24-hour in-suite dining, an espresso machine, complimentary coffee and teas, and a mini-bar.
- I personally stayed in the Terrace Suite which I found to be so modern, sleek, and beautiful.
- There are 6 different restaurants including Evrima, S.E.A. which is a three Michelin-Star restaurant, Taalat Nam, The Pool House, Mistral, and The Living Room.
- My favorite restaurants were The Pool House for lunch which serves a variety of cuisines and Mistral for dinner which serves a Mediterranean-inspired menu.
- The spa has massage and facial treatments using ESPA products, a hair salon, a fitness room with daily classes, and a gym with Technogym equipment.
- I had an amazing sunset massage as well as a blow dry and both services were 10/10.
- The boutique sells a lot of VERY high-end items including Chanel bags, Rolex watches, Birkin Bags, and fine jewelry.
- The all-inclusive fare includes beverages (all the booze you can drink), tips, all dining, Wi-Fi, a personal concierge, water sports, and more.
I experienced the Ritz Carlton Yacht in a very unique way because my friends Ethan and Alanna charted the entire boat for their wedding. We had 5 themed nights including Party En Blanc, Havana Nights, The Wedding Night, Disco Party, and Posh Pajama Party. It was so fun getting all dressed up with my friends, drinking all-inclusive cocktails, dancing the night away, and then stumbling back to my room to order all-inclusive in-room dining.
The cons were getting seasick while the boat set sail from Miami to The Bahamas. Also, after I got off the boat, I felt like I was rocking for days and it just made me feel super off balance. Another con is the restaurants close so early – I normally eat dinner pretty late between 8-9 pm and all of the restaurants closed by 9 pm.
Overall though, I really enjoyed myself on The Ritz Carlton Yacht and I would recommend it to anyone that loves luxury cruises. To learn more about the yacht in-depth check out this article by THE POINTS GUY
