We produced our largest event yet taking over the entire Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza producing activations both indoor and outdoor to celebrate the holiday and community in partnership with Baldwin Hills Crenshaw, CD*, and the YMCA Crenshaw.
We also partnered with Baby 2 Baby, WorldStar Hip Hop, United Way, and The Peoples Project to name a few. You can see the full list of our 2022 partners HERE.
Activations included:
– 15,000 toys
– Snow sledding
– Live entertainment
– Health Resources – Job fair and resume writing
– Hockey rink by LA Kings @lakings
– Arts & Crafts
– Robotics station @south.la.robotics
– Photos with Santa
– Food vouchers
– Wellness activities
– Books @malikbooks
I have organized a lot of events in the past but nothing on this scale. I cannot express how magical it was to see thousands of people show up and enjoy all of the activities that we had been planning for months prior.
For this event, I contributed by:
– Raising monetary funds
– Bringing in volunteers and influencers
– Bringing in partnerships including WorldStar Hip Hop and The Agency Malibu
– Toy shopping
– Toy organizing
– Pre-event planning
– Onsite (day of the event) management
