Located in the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, which hosts some of the worlds most prestigious furniture companies in the world, is Wolfgang Puck’s Test Kitchen. If you are a foodie or looking to impress a hot date and live in Los Angeles or traveling to Los Angeles then you definitely need to check out Test Kitchen. Each week, a rotating group of chefs collaborate together creating one-of-a-kind menus that consist of modern and globally inspired dishes. Make sure to book in advance because there are only eight guests served per night, beginning at 7:30pm and lasting for close to 3 hours. I booked my tickets a month in advance for my best friends birthday present.
Currently, Test Kitchen’s dining experience runs $175 per person, and will change frequently. You can also opt to purchase the $85 per person beverage pairing at the time of your purchase. Also, you can bring your own wine with a $50 per bottle corkage fee.
The one key thing Wolfgang asks of his guests is that you come with an open mind, willing to explore the unexpected and very very very unique dishes. If you are a vegan or a vegetarian, I would sit this one out my friends. Unless, you want to do a private booking and tailor the dinner to your preference of vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, etc. Now that I primarily eat a vegetarian/pescatarian diet, this is something I would definitely do in the future with a group of friends.
