Akyra Manor Chiang Mai is about a 15-minute drive from Chiang Mai International Airport and located in the heart of the Nimmanhaemin area which is my personal favorite part of Chiang Mai.
This hotel is perfectly located next to two of the most well-known old city gates. Suan Dok Gate is the gateway to the most famous temples in the city: Phra Singh Temple and Wat Chedi Luang. Chang Puak Gate leads to Chiang Mai’s famous open air food night market where you can find food stalls serving delicious authentic northern Thai food.
If you are on a budget and just want to check out the hotel, then I recommend going for afternoon cocktails or dinner on the rooftop!
